Ye i did it...

im using Manjaro Linux that is ArchLinux based.

installed wine and all its component, bot downloaded as usual and launched... all good till here
https://ibb.co/2hq8vSY

BUT

is not opening the browser..

i dont know wich browser its using as default, if he need a deamon from chrome or from FF,

all the bot is working with all functionality but not the browser, and without it, is not enabled to run and login the bot.

but the main vertex bot program, loading configurations, and activating the licence is working.

i can see on the process of the program on windows that, its using this cefsharp.browser subprocess, that is most probably the vertex browser.

maybe wine is not able to emulate it or recognise this kind of request to start this process... i will keep working on it

i will install chromium as well and follow this tutorial viewtopic.php?f=21&t=90

and let see what happen, i will update this post if i had some news, and if it will works i will prepare a good video-guide for dummies >D

any idea so far?

UPDATE,

No, im sorry i try everything, wine is not able to replicate the vertex browser as a subprocess of chrome opera or whatever.

also because is not possible to install the windows version of chrome on wine on linux, so it does not have this process in store...

i will try to ask the WineHQ community for a solution if.

but the best thing and nice and pro thing to do, would be develop a native source code of the bot for Linux..

The first bot able to run on natively on Linux..... PRO at another level :)

No, on WINE emulator i can emulate only single softwares..... like vertex, not the entire OS.

to emulate a full OS, they only way is to use a VirtualBox, but, its same as using windows... like this is working 100%, but it has no sense, because my meaning is to run the bot directly from linux, maybe only using Wine, or cedega or oracle... some kind of windows emulator.

Oracle i didnt try yet... i wil when i have more time.

the only problem is that vertex is using some sub-programs, and wine is not able to chain them.

this vertex browser looks like its using some existing daeom from Chrome or Opera, is not a real browser itself.

Just a question, you are the Developer of the bot or a reseller Admin?

It doesnt matter who I am.

The bot it wont run in this case, only if you simulate the whole windows, then run from there.
You can try that.

i already try like that and its working... of course, a virtual machine of windows even if running on linux or osx or bsd or whatever is like running it from windows.

but it was not that my purpose.

i will code it to run from linux as well..
